For the Life of Your Business

SCORE Orange County is a group of experienced business professionals who provide guidance to those desiring to start up a new small business or to assist existing small businesses in improving their profitability.

Our volunteers are successful real-world business professionals who volunteer thousands of hours to help existing and startup businesses succeed. Our volunteers are experts with experience in areas such as; accounting, finance, human resources, consulting, import/export, law, operations, production, retail, wholesale, manufacturing, sales, marketing, management, business plan preparation, strategic planning, and many other business disciplines.

In the recent fiscal year, SCORE Orange County volunteers personally held more than 5,400 sessions with entrepreneurs and educated over 6,600 people in 300 workshops. An independent study concluded that in 2017, Orange County SCORE helped start 359 new businesses and create 1,171 new jobs.

We provide:

• Volunteer MENTORS who share their expertise across many industries

• Free, confidential business mentoring in person in 23 locations throughout Orange County, via email or by video

• Free business TOOLS, templates, and tips here online

• Inexpensive or free business WORKSHOPS (locally) and webinars (online 24/7)s

• The no-cost use of an Advisory Board of mentors for existing businesses

• CEO Forum, a fee-based program for existing business owners to work through their issues in a peer-to-peer learning environment

• Women in Business Breakfasts, quarterly events for learning and networking for OC Entrepreneurs 

• The annual Women Business Owners Conference, is an opportunity to hear from knowledgeable speakers, learn from successful peers, and network with others
